My goodness! This place gets busy busy busy! I’ve never seen so many very pregnant ladies in one place at the same time! Yet the staff and doctors do n amazing job keeping their cool, quick, efficient and helpful. The visit felt rushed compared to any other women’s clinic I have been to in my life time BUT as I mentioned in the beginning , I have never seen so many super pregnant women in one place . I was cool with the rushed visit, the pregnant ladies needed more attention than I did! I just went in for routine annual check up. Absolutely the only obgyn I trust with my life as well as my unborn child , in 2016 my I was a high risk pregnancy with my son and he was on top of everything after I switched doctors I was about 13 weeks or so when I started to see him and he was by my side every step of the way I was placed in the hospital at 33 weeks for early labor and he got me to 35 weeks and 6 days when I left because I was finally able to go home the next day I had placenta Abruption and was bleeding so crazy I was rushed to the hospital at 8 am and had my son at 8:34 am and he got to us so fast and was there to keep me calm and have a safe c section He as well delivered my daughter a year later and as well did an amazing job in 2017 and here we are in 2020 with my new pregnancy and I can’t ask for a better obgyn to take care of us thank you so much

I have been seeing Dr. Al-Hakeem, but these last couple of visits I have been treated by one of the best midwifes I have ever met! Not only does she have the best bedside manner, she is knowledgeable, caring, and her IV/Blood work skills are amazing! The last couple of times I had bruises left when I got bloodwork done, and she was just amazing! No bruise, No pain, and bloodwork drawn successfully! Needless to say, she is my go to now! I am blessed to be able to go to this clinic. The front office staff is so nice, and the long waiting times is totally worth it when the doctors and team make you feel this welcomed. I am not from San Antonio but was there this weekend and into yesterday, Monday. I had been feeling pelvic/abdominal discomfort and after having seen a NP in my hometown (El Paso, Texas) and not receiving a diagnosis, I decided, in the spur of the moment, schedule a consultation with Dr. Al-Hakeem. I was able to secure an 8:05 a.m. appointment on Sunday via their website. This is something that is definitely rarely available with the ob/gyn clinics in my hometown much less to be able to do so online! Their office located at Westover Hills was open on time and was clean and organized. I went up to the window to confirm my appointment given that I found it incredibly hard to believe I was able to make an appointment online the night prior. They confirmed my appointment was scheduled and handed me an ipad to complete registration. Super easy and fast intake! Another pleasant surprise! After my vitals were taken and a urine sample was collected, I was sent back to the waiting room. I do have to say that the wait was a bit long. My appointment was scheduled at 8:05 a.m. and I wasn't taken to a room until 9:38 a.m. They did give me a heads up that the doctor would be in around 9 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. so in all fairness, it's understandable as I did want to see him. Dr. Al-Hakeem entered and was very professional, kind, well-spoken, and interactive. He listed to my medical history, asked questions, and at the same time explained why I could be experiencing the discomfort. I was asked to get ready for a vaginal US and told he would be back. Typically, in my hometown OB visits, you would be sitting naked, in a cold room, waiting, anywhere from 15-30 mins for a tech to come in and perform the US. Not here! Within 5 minutes he knocked, accompanied by an assistant, and he actually performed the US (WOW!) all whilst explaining what he was seeing and why and making a note of everything. He explained everything thoroughly and put my mind/concerns at ease and followed up with a timeline of steps to be taken, vitamins to take, and what we can expect. I am so pleasantly surprised with this visit and the way everything was handled. Despite the wait, it was worth it. I've already booked a follow up appointment a couple of months down the line for a follow up. Thank you so much for the excellent service! This office made an impression on me.

After having the most horrible experience at another office I was referred to dr. Hakeem. I had to wait over an hour in the office but when I finally got back and met with the ma she took the time to go over all my medications with me took my blood pressure did all my vitals and took me back to see Doctor Hakeem. Dr Hakeem first came in and spoke with me in depth then excused himself then came back in and personally did my sonogram. Dr Hakeem made me feel very comfortable and put every feeling I had to rest and I finally found my OBGYN home with dr. Hakeem. I will refer everyone I know to dr. Hakeem.

The midwives are amazing so is Dr. Al-Hakeem He is quick and straight to the point with your appointments The whole staff makes you feel comfortable and like family!

My 1st sonogram was quite rushed. I have never made it far enough to get one before, so this moment was very scary and anticipated. It was so rushed I didn't feel very reassured about it. Hopefully my next one next week will be better.
