I was told this was a great office by a friend of mine. I decided to try it after not having a good experience at a completely different office. I absolutely loved the environment. the staff is kind & helpful. open to any & all questions. The dr. are definitely girls girls. I really loved the environment of this office. I felt very safe & nonjudgmental. So happy for the recommendation. It’s hard finding a good gyno. I’m glad I found the one!

This place deserves absolutely no stars but I had to select one to move forward with my review..
Ladies, please do your research before coming to this place, thankfully I was just doing a routine check and not excepting a baby. This doctor ordered bloodwork and an ultrasound after ‘reviewing my exam results’ and another doctor read the results in complete confusion because bloodwork/ ultrasound weren’t required. The meds I was giving caused a reaction to my face and when I called the office to inform, I was told ‘just go over it with your doctor during your follow up’. I’ve had my tubes tied for over 17 years, this doctor asked if I was trying to get pregnant or taking birth control, apparently they don’t read pt history; after 22 years of business with this office I will be taking my healthcare to a new doctor. Glad to be leaving!

March 25,2026 at 1:10 PM, I had an appointment with a doctor named Dan, and I left feeling extremely uncomfortable and disrespected.
As a 23-year-old first-time mom, this experience was disappointing and honestly unacceptable. When he walked into the room, there was no greeting no “hello,” no introduction. He immediately asked if I was taking aspirin, and when I said no, he responded by saying he would prescribe it “since you are obese.” The comment itself wasn’t what upset me I’m fully aware of my body but the way it was delivered, in front of my husband and two nurses, was incredibly unprofessional and belittling.
When I looked at my husband in shock, the doctor said, “don’t look at me like that,” which only made the situation worse. I felt dismissed and uncomfortable the entire time. When I asked why I keep being rotated between different doctors, his response was brief and dismissive, simply stating scheduling differences and that he delivers on Thursdays. I even said, “well now I know not to deliver on a Thursday,” because I genuinely do not feel comfortable being under his care.
Pregnancy is already a vulnerable time, especially as a first-time mom. We deserve respect, kindness, and professionalism from the people entrusted with our care. This experience did not reflect that at all.
I want to be clear I’m not offended by medical advice. I am, however, deeply disappointed in how I was treated. No patient should feel belittled or uncomfortable during such an important time in their life.
This doctor will not be involved in my care moving forward. I as well will be confronting this situation in person, due to lack of communication from this company.

I try to book appointments early for this exact reason. Got rescheduled to a later time. Wait in the lobby was a little long but I knew it’s was very busy. Got pulled into the room to wait close to an hour. After stating my room number to the front office & mentioning the time I was waiting in there; they finally saw me. No complaints over staff just bummed over wait time

Dr. Blackmon has been very compassionate and understanding, especially during my postpartum journey. Sometimes, it can seem like after baby, mom's take the backseat as far as healing, but Dr. Blackmon has taken the time to listen to concerns and help find solutions to any issues that have come to light. I highly recommend his care to anyone who is in need of outstanding patient care!

Dr. Edward Blackmon actually took an hour with me to listen to all my concerns as I haven't been able to conceive in over 11 years. He took a different approach and sent me to do labs this upcoming month, hoping this resolves all of my issues.
